For every dollar the Foundation charges in program fees, nearly one additional dollar is raised through fundraising and events to cover the cost of running the programs. Program fees do not cover the full cost of coaching and other program-related expenses such as equipment (safety net, gates, drills, radios, etc.), and program administration. Additionally, we have several major capital projects in the works including the following:
- partnering with Whitefish Mountain Resort to improve lighting for night training on Nice Day - adding 8 light fixtures on 4 poles to be constructed October 2023
- purchasing a wireless timing system and race corral materials to improve our ability to host US Ski & Snowboard races,
- purchasing a team van to be able to provide transportation to our U14 and older racers to eliminate the need for parents to travel to races (Just Purchased in Summer 2023!)

Volunteer
Our club could not function without the help of our volunteers. From running the t-bar, to being a race official, helping with race safety or timing, our athletes need your help to develop and grow.
Current volunteer opportunities:
Starting in January, parent volunteers operate the Heritage T-bar between 9am and noon on Saturday and Sunday. Training with Whitefish Mountain Resort is required before you can volunteer and is scheduled for Friday, January 12 and Saturday, January 13 at 1pm both days. You will meet at the lower T-bar shack, and should be dressed to ski/board. Training takes less than an hour.
