TOBY MCINTOSH

U14 TEAM COACH

Toby grew up in Westford, Vermont and started skiing at Smugglers' Notch at the age of 4. He joined the ski club at the age of 6 to have other kids to ski with. His mom worked at the resort, which meant he was able to spend his free time skiing. His love for skiing quickly turned to ski racing. After high school, Toby raced for the University of Vermont ski team while pursuing a civil engineering degree. After graduating UVM in 2004, Toby moved to NW Montana where he has lived ever since. Toby worked as a part-time FVSEF coach around 2010 and re-joined the program as an All-Mountain Rangers Coach during the 2021-2022 ski season. As a father of 3 boys, his 2 oldest have been a part of the All-Mountain Rangers program, the Development Team, and now the U14 team. He enjoys getting to work with athletes and watching their improvements throughout the season. For 2025-26 Toby is looking forward to working with the U14 athletes and sharing his love of the sport and experience gained from years of USSA, FIS, and Collegiate ski racing.
