NICK BECKER

DEVELOPMENT TEAM COACH

Nick grew up in the Flathead Valley, attending his early schooling in Whitefish and started skiing at age 4, and raced with the Whitefish Race Team for 7 years. Nick attended the New Mexico Military Institute and the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY. At the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy he studied Marine Transportation, competed in offshore sailboat racing, and graduated with an Unlimited Tonnage Mates License upon all oceans. He has worked on Ships traveling to over 15 countries all over the world and currently works on the Great Lakes with a fleet of Freighters. Nick's core memories of the fun and friends developed from the race team have made him want to pass this down to others. He has always loved skiing because of the joy and adrenaline it brings. He is excited to help develop athlete's basic skiing and racing skills while making sure everyone has as much fun as possible!
