FVSEF runs on an annual shoestring budget of $90,000, approximately half of which is funded through charitable contributions, as the FVSEF is a 501(c)(3) entity. These charitable contributions supplement program fees and are necessary to support the coaching staff, travel expenses, race fees, vehicle maintenance, equipment costs, office space, etc. Historically, through the generous contributions of community members, FVSEF has been able to raise approximately $45,000 to support the program. Our goal this year is to raise $75,000 through this Annual Drive. The additional $30,000 to what has been raised in the past will ensure the longevity and health of the organization.
Whitefish is a well-established and progressive ski town that is motivated to maintain an energetic and modern ski program that lends vibrancy to the community. FVSEF’s quality programs have placed many children in fully funded collegiate programs over the years. We consistently turn out and promote high achieving students and citizens from Whitefish, MT, and we look forward to continued community support.Corporate Sponsors
Of the $45,000 in donations historically raised to support the program, almost half is cash donations from corporate sponsors. We are very proud of this level of corporate sponsorship and believe it reflects the community’s commitment to seeing kids on snow, and acknowledgement of FVSEF’s expertise is providing competitive alpine race programs.
